You and me both! That unit took me the longest! Although I do feel it was a lot of valuable information. I will DEFINATELY be reading that unit in my book, and going over my quiz a few times before the test!! I helped open my mind to auto insurance and what all is involved, very neat!

I agree that unit three is a great deal of information.  Auto insurance is the heaviest tested unit on the state exam.

Hello, I'm studying my flash cards and I'm a little confused, what's new lol .. What is the appropriate order which the following policies would pay, if all applied to a single injury ? A. PIP, WC, MP B. WC MP PIP C. MP PIP WC D. WC PIP MP I Choose D. Because PIP is primary against all other coverages EXCEPT Workers comp. Anyways, I got this answer correct whoohoo me but then there was the second question which totally blew me off track, which is .... How do workers comp benefits apply when work related injuries are also covered by PIP ? A. WC excess over PIP B. PIP excess over WC C. Coverage shared on pro rata basis D. PIP excludes coverage if WC available I choose A and I was wrong please explain why? How is pip excess over WC is WC is payable before pip . I don't get it at all . Someone please help

PIP being excess means that WC will pay first if its work related, then PIP pays excess.  Excess pays the extra that the primary (WC) does not pay. Hope that helps.
