Hi all: Ok throughout this course it was confirmed that the time allotted on the State Exam was 3 Hours......I come to find out when I made my appointment for the exam is 2 Hours and 45 minutes. Is this true? I'm probably going to need the full 3 Hours....I would appreciate a real answer...Thank You
Hello, I just copied this list of exam times from the Florida Insurance Licensing Candidate Handbook 2017, which is what is linked on the state website (https://www.myfloridacfo.com/division/agents/licensure/examinations/) as of today.
I will ask our instructors go back through our courses and make sure that the examination times listed are consistent with this information.

Hi Sandra: Thank you for answering my question...so apparently the time limit is 2 Hours & 45 minutes. As if there isn't enough pressure. Why did they shorten it??
I am not sure why they shortened it, and I also wonder why the book apparently says one thing and the state website another. Unfortunately we aren't in control of any of that.
I trust that with enough preparation, and going back through the course or one of our PassPrep courses you will find that you are very well prepared for the state licensing exam.

Hi Sandra:
Just so you know I contacted the State & they replied to me. They checked with Pearson Vue and they have it listed as 2 hours and 45 minutes........The state is correcting it to 3 Hours which it should be. One small victory for the little guy. Yay.

If you are referencing the 2-20 General Lines exam, the FL state study manual states the time limit as 3 hours. I would verify with the test site and if they aren't willing to provide the full 3 hours, you should contact the FLDFS.
