Passed Final and State Exam

I passed the state exam yesterday. I wanted to leave here what I did to prepare in case it helps others. I know I read through a lot of posts to see what others did to pass both exams (the course final and state exam).

For the final if you do well in the quizzes, it is just a matter of studying the material. Keyword, that I saw repeated over and over. STUDY.

For the state exam I did 4 things:

1. Read the whole book and make sure you understand what you are reading (Jan is really good at explaining and having things make sense).

2. I took a 3-day cram course that was offered in Tamarac and Doral. This helped a lot because it helps you focus on the parts of the book that are heavily tested on the exam, and any last minute doubts could be clarified there as well.

3. The course quizzes. The quizzes from this course and the final helped a lot.

4. The last thing I used was the exam simulator from examsimulator.com This one helped me see where my strengths and weaknesses were and where I had to focus, but I did not use it as much because I wanted to focus on really studying and understanding what was in the book and quizzes.

Really, the things I did that helped me the most were 1, 2, and 3. Each of them require the keyword to be done STUDY!

Good luck to everyone who will be taking their final and state exam.
