You (if you have a General Lines License and appointed by carrier) can appoint someone in your agency that person only has a customer service representative license to sell insurance on inbound questions. Florida Statute 626.7353
626.7354 Customer representative’s powers; agent’s or agency’s responsibility.—
(2) A customer representative may engage in transacting insurance with customers who have been solicited by any agent or customer representative in the same agency, and may engage in transacting insurance with customers who have not been so solicited to the extent and under conditions that are otherwise consistent with this part and with the insurer’s contract with the agent appointing him or her.
If I have that right. All I would have to do is open a call center and appoint those licensed customer representatives to sell what I have been appointed to sell without them getting licensed, but a quick study overview? I would take responsibility for them, but would I be able to appoint those that are just licensed customer service representatives as long as there are no outbound calls and people are calling us whether we are health/life/casualty? If I am appointed to a life, health, and causality companies can I appoint all caller for each one of those as well? Say I have 3 people I hire and they all only have customer representative licenses I can appoint them and have them sell on inbound calls?
