Are you asking how to work the math on questions that require you to calculate a percent?  I'll be happyto help you with that but please clarify if that is not what you're asking.

Calculating percent involves changing the percent into a decimal and multiplying.  Here are two examples:

80% of $7,500 and 60% of $1,200

80% becomes .80 and you multiply $7,000.  $7,000 X .8 = $5,600

60% of $1,200 becomes $1,200 X .6 = $720
