I FAILED THE STATE EXAM

I failed the florida state exam recieving a 61% when I needed a 70% .. .. there was things on the exam that the class failed to teach me of. No hard feelings, I know I will pass the second time around for sure. I suggest everyone study the statutes as much as possible because it has its own section. Everyones test is different but from my experience it was tougher than the class exam. I was tested a lot on:

Workers Comp

Robbery & Burglurly

Declarations, Conditions & Insurance Agreement

Homeowners ********

Commercial Policy *******

my exam had many scenarios, which can be daunting so make sure you read them carefully.

I suggest testing as soon as possible after you finish the class so it is still fresh on your mind as these things tend to delete from your memory.

Happy testing :)

P.S. Im attaching some things to help you study a little. Hopefully it helps :)

Jean,  Thanks for helping the rest of us.  You are very kind.  The volume of material and detail is daunting.  I am preparing for the State exam as well.

Thanks for the advice!  I am only halfway through the course, but am already feeling overwhelmed.  It's nice to see participation on the message board too.

Review... review... Retake the end of chapter tests... use an additional test..if you can afford it and test, test, test. After a while... the lights will start to go off.... Then take your time... don't get nervous on the State Test. Document your: Yes I know... Maybe It's right... and the I don't have a Clue.... Those three categories is where it's at. Timing and pacing is the second most important... do not rush no matter how easy the question is... no matter... pace use your time. Only after completing ALL THE Questions do you look at your tally sheet. If your Yes... and Maybe's add up to 80 or more.... don't change anything. ONLY review and change the "I don't have a Clue" after you have eliminated the two most Wrong Answers... then it's a 50/50 shot at getting that write now. Good Luck. Study the material, Pace yourself using the time you have and only review the "I don't have a Clue". Nobody else is taking your test... only you.... so don't worry about others getting up and leaving.... the majority of them will fail!
