Signing up for State Exam

I have just completed the Property and Casualty General Lines Course, submitted my grades and final exam for final scoring. I need to sign up for the State Exam and did not take that opportunity at the end and do not see where I can access that now through the OLT course. Suggestions?

The state test is adminstered through Pearson Vue, you need to sign up through their website and then once the test is completed you'll need to complete the application with Florida Department of Financial Services.

I would check the Florida Department of Financial Services website under Agent & Agency Services.  http://www.myfloridacfo.com/division/Agents/#.U2XC3PldVUM

Gloria, You can schedule your State Exam with Pearson Vue by visiting their website at URL Address: http://ww.pearsonvue.com/fl/insurance *****After passing your State Exam, you will then have up to one year (from the date you passed your exam) to complete your licensing application online (and become licensed) with the Florida Department of Financial Services at URL Address: https://dice.fldfs.com/public/pb_index.aspx Jan

Carolyn,

You have 48 months from the date of your certificate to take your state exam and become licensed before your course completion certificate become null and void (meaning you would need to retake a pre-licensing course to become eligible for the state exam and licensing).

Don't wait. Study and do it. Take All The Time They give you for each Question. The faster you go... seems like the question s get harder. Slowly and you will pass. Only change answers that you have No Earthy Answer. Remember two answers are usually Very Wrong. Identities those first! Now it's 50/50.
