CHOICES: A. over spraying green on white truck B. horse eats vinyl top of the vehicle C. thief steals and crashes car into tree ANSWER: All are correct MY QUESTION: How can a crash qualify since I thought that would be considered collision? C is correct because the car was stolen, then crashed. Other than collision covers theft, so it was crashed by a theif its covered.

If you crashed into a tree then it would have been covered under collision.

Hope that helps!

I understand how C is correct but I do not understand how A & B are correct.

Why would damage from yourself overspraying while painting and your personal horse damaging your car be covered under other than collision?

Could someone explain that to me

Hope,

Any damage to your covered auto is covered under Part D of a PAP unless the damage is caused by another person, in which case the liability of the at-fault party would cover the claim.

If you collide with another object, Collision would coverage the damage.  If your vehicle is damaged for a reason that is not a collision, "Other Than Collision" pays for the damage. Your vehicle does not have to be involved in a "car crash" to use your Part D coverage.

I hope this helps.
