Unit three - lesson 2 3.2g no fault. Question

On the limitations section of the No-Fault chapter in the online course it states "Insureds who choose a deductible for themselves or their family members are not allowed to collect the deductible from a liable party".

However in the manual it states that they can, it even has an example of that situation.

Which one is correct, thanks and sorry if its hard to understand.

I see it and am confused as well. There are several type errors and confusing wording in this course. Some of the information seems misleading.

Yeah, since nobody has come up with an answer, Im going to go with the manual, since that seems to be the last word on everything here.

Students,

I have questioned several insurance professionals on why this statement would be included at this place in the No-Fault materials.  After reading your questions/comments, I felt maybe I had missed something.  The author of this course is very knoweldgeable and I seldom see "misinformation" in the course materials.  However, in this case, I can find no reason for this statement and I am at a loss to explain.  I also agree that it is incorrect -the state manual is correct on this matter.  I am requesting that it be removed from the course.

Thanks for your questions and feedback on the subject.  You make the course better!

Jan
