Hi, I was wondering generally how long does it takes for Florida 6-20 license to return after you've gotten finger printed?

I was finger printed on 8/30 BTW.

Hi Christopher,

To receive a FL insurance license, three things have to be sent to the Florida Dept. of Financial Services.

1. Submit a Certificate of Completion

2. Submit electronic fingerprints

3. Submit an application and pay the license fee

If you have completed these three steps, you should call the FLDFS and check on the status of your license. I don't know the current wait time.  It depends on how busy they are at the FLDFS.  It can take a week or a month - or more. Only the FLDFS can provide this info.

Regards, Jan
