When I registered for the course I was so excited until I rushed into it after a parent death, a bad cold but later found out I had walking pneumonia. I lost a parent in 2014 and another one in 2017 and it is the hardest thing to lose a parent. I know that it will get better because for four years I was a caregiver that quit my job of 22 1/2 years with the State of Florida to take care of a parent that had Dementia/Alzheimer's. With this course I was not doing my best work and had to sit back, get better and take my time and learn the material. I had to learn how to apply the knowledge of the course. For me the critical connection was between the material I learned and how to use the material to succeed in the course, the quizzes and exams. With those few days to get myself together I realized that repetition is the key to success. My best preparation would be knowing what to study and how to study. I needed to have a proper mindset, intensity, focus, acknowledge my goals, be stress free and learn the terminology. Now that I know what I need to do I am starting from the beginning so that I can be a better learner of the material and pass the quizzes and final exam. Since, I had not been in school in a long time I needed to learn how to navigate the online training course so that I can stay on the road of my goal of completing the course with SUCCESS! Now I am ready (smile)!
Hi Renee,
I am sorry to hear of your losses and glad to see that you are moving forward with your life.
Did you know that you can retake the quizzes as many times as you want? Retaking the quiz has two benefits,
- If you retake the quiz everytime you go through the unit lessons, you will see your knowledge increase, along with your quiz score.
- You become more familiar with how the instructor phrases questions and this will help you pass the final exam.
Good luck with the course. Remember to use the other forums
