Hello, I am a new student and wanting to say "Hi." Does the textbook follow the chapters in this course format?

Hello Jan,

Thanks for responding. I am taking the General Lines (2-20) course for licensure. I just purchased the manual and am curious as to whether or not the manual follows along with the respective chapters in my program? Thanks and looking forward to completing this class.

Regards,

Hi Matt,

The course follows the state manual.  Each unit in the manual is a unit in the course. Please let me know if you have any questions as you work through the course.

One more question Jan: For the chapter quizzes, Does the grade record your last test grade or your best grade per chapter? So if I took three quizzes, scoring 85, 97, 79 in that order I would get credit for the 97, correct?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

The system retains your highest grade.  In your example, you would get credit for the 97% grade.

Hi Jan,

I sent you a message in another forum so if you get my question twice, sorry about that. For the 2-20 exam, how much in detail are we supposed to know the coverage limits from chapter 4. Thanks.

Hi Matt,

Good question!  I'm really not sure of the answer.  There used to be questions on the state exam about specific coverage limits.  I've heard the state has moved away from questions asking for specific amounts, but you should be aware of the categories of personal property that are affected by special limits.  Other than money, there are only two limits - $1500 and $2500.  It's a good idea to know which properties fall into each of these categories.  You may have 1 or 2 questions.
