is anyone else finding that it is taking them hours to just get through one UNIT? like even a couple of hours per lesson in each unit? ... thanks so much :-)
The Conversion course is written for students who have insurance experience so it is assumed that they will also work very quickly on the units with which they are familiar. Also, they may need to spend extra time on some of the units where the insurance concepts are new to them.
Please email me at bradburn@oltraining.com and let me know a time I can call you to talk about accelerating the time you spend in the course. If you are proficient in some of the material, we can find a way for you to move through the course quicker, but if you do not have advanced knowledge of the course, it will serve you well to take your time. The state exam covers the entire manual.

Thank you so much for your response. The place im going to work for required i take this course and get my license. I have no previous experience with insurance. I am a bank teller and sell accounts/credit cards/ mortagages, etc.
I developed interest in this job opportuinity I want to try something new and am no longer happy at Wells Fargo.
As far as the state exam he said nothing of this. It was under my impression that I needed to take this course and retain the material. The employer then said they would pay for my license and I would be able to sell certain products working under this agent.
As far as I was concerned The State exam wasn't neccesary unless I wanted to further advance myself. Please give me any insite you may have. Thank you so much.
I posted a previous message here in regards to a question in Unit 4, I cannot seem to figure out how to arrive at the answer. Thank you so much
Angelica.
The agent told me to take the "4-40" course.
I'm beginning to think I am taking the wrong course? But I dont think so he said it was a 40 hr course.
There is so much material. I have no experience in this field. I know I can learn it, and I will. I just wish I could get through this faster, its so difficult with 2 jobs.
I'm afraid you have taken the wrong course. You are enrolled the agents course and you should be taking the RCSR course for a 4-40 license. The course you are currently taking requires experience in the insurance industry.
Please call OnLine Training on Monday morning and have them register you in the 4-40 course. You will find the 4-40 course is much easier and faster to complete. I believe you have completed or you are working on unit four so you will find that you can take some of the exams without going through the unit lessons. You will need to study and take the unit two exam, but you have already covered the materials for units 1, 3 and 4. Also, there is no state exam.
Please email me if you have any questions - bradburn@oltraining.com.

Oh My God! That is all I can say right now. I am just now seeing your reply. I have spent hours and days and countless nights on this course all thinking it is the right one that I need to complete for this job. This guy is going to think im stupid now lol. What am I supposed to tell him? I have lost 2 and a half weeks time for this course. Now I have to take an additional 40 hourse to take AN ENTIRE DIFFERENT COURSE!!!
-What am I supposed to do Jan? Is there any way I could give the Agent i'm going to work for, your email address so he can get some kind of confirmation that I have not been taking this past 2 weeks to just not complete the course? Just so at least he knows that I have been trying my hardest and working hours and hours, but unbeknownst to me I have been taking the wrong course.
Jan may I please give the Agent your email address so he can confirm this happened so I can get an extention on the new course?
Will they just transfer me over to the correct 4-40 course? I cannot afford to pay again.
Jan is there anything you can do to make it so they can just discharge me form this course and enroll me in the regular 4-40 that i need? Please is there anything you can do? Can they just use the 300 i spent for this course as credit for the regular 4-40? PLEASE HELPPP!!
OH MY GOD. You have no idea how this feels i have spent so many sleepless nights working 2 jobs all for the wrong course! I am so sad. I was really looking forward to this new job. Please help!!
Thank you so much for your understanding Jan!!!
It really isn't as bad as you think. A great deal of the content is the same in both courses, so you do not have to start over again. I will email the registrar at OLT and can give your boss my email address. It is bradburn@oltraining.com.
This will work out well for you because the course you should be taking is much easier.

Oh Jan! Thank you so very much. I called them today and I was able to find this out today. I can't express to you the exhale I was able to take. I can't thank you enough for letting them know how hard I've been working. Just thank you. I am so excited and eager to get this completed. The lady mentioned it would take at least 24 hours for my grades to be transfered over. So I will check again tomorrow. I am told to begin on this course at Unit 7.
I told my boss today, he was also pleased. I can't wait to start I'm so excited for this full time position. I panicked when I found out I had been taking the wrong course, naturally, but I am at ease now.
Thank you so much Jan! and I'm happy you are still my instructor! :-)
Yayyyyyy! :-))))
Hi Angelica,
The OLT Registrar has tried to contact you, however the telephone number she has in her records is no longer in service. Could you please call the office at 561-283-0333, so that we can process the course change?
Thank you,
