In unit 4 already and havent purchased book yet, passed all my unit quizzes with A's so far on 1st attempt... is it really neccessary to buy the book? does the final ask questions that would need the book? or do they use unit quiz questions? Willing to purchase obviously if needed but if its not then rather not bother.
Hi Stephanie,
The questions in our courses are taken entirely from the material taught within the courses, however the state exams are taken from the state manuals.
Obviously the goal is for both the course and the state manual to teach the same material, however sometimes there will be natural differences in phrasing that could make a difference in whether or not you pass a state exam on the first try. It is also important to point out that some people will understand the book better than the online course, and it can help clarify any questions you may have.
Another reason to purchase the book is that in many cases the state requires that you have a copy of the state manual.
Hope this helps.
Sandra King.
Bought it!!! Thanks guys!
where does it say it is required to purchase the book?
I am coming up on Unit 8 now and havent needed it.
Why would it be required?
"CSR COURSE"
Hello,
Obviously, with this being an online course we can't check to verify that you have a book, however it is required, and expected that you purchase it. The book will continue to be available to you if you have questions about policies, procedures and rules once the course is over. It is a reference for you as you work in this field.
