I have received my license as 6-20 all lines claims adjuster...Now I have been applying for claims adjuster jobs in the state and I have heard nothing back from anyone. I have applied for Progressive many times and they keep rejecting me. I only apply for jobs that say trainee as well. To me I would assume these are the ones I should be applying for since it does not require you have previous experience. What am I missing here? If you have to have experience to get the job then how do you get the experience you need in order to get a job unless someone hires you first? I went through the necessary steps to get my license...I dont need a bachelors degree when I got a license that specifically focuses on claims adjusting. Going to college and getting a degree does not put the same focus on claims adjusting as taking a class SPECIFICALLY for insurance claims adjusting. So how do I get into this field? Do I have to know someone? That is what I am assuming. Who out there already has gotten a job in this field that can help as well?

OnLine Training is now keeping a list of companies that say they are hiring, contact Student Services or check out http://olt.net/main/hiring.php. No guarantees a company will hire you, but at least these companies expressed interest in hiring students who went through an OLT course like this.

Check out freestatestaffing.com, which places nothing but insurance and claims positions. They are located in Longwood, FL. Ask for Nancy and tell her I sent you. Good luck.
