Hi Kaitlyn,
Congratulations on passing the course. These instructions for signing up for the state exam should be up to date. There are a few different ways you can continue to study once your initial enrollment period is up.
- You can purchase up to a total of 3 extensions to your 2-20 course: Course Extension (30 day),
- or you can purchase our Practice Question generator: Florida 2-20 and 20-44 Agent Practice Question Generator (PE003),
- or you can purchase our Pass prep course: Florida - 2-20 Pass Prep Course (INS020FL),
- and of course, since you have the book, you can read the book and answer the chapter questions again as a final review.
I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, you are always welcome to call the office at 561-283-0333

State Exam and Licensing procedures (220 license)
1. After you pass the Final Exam, complete and submit your Grade Submittal Form so that your course completion is recognized and processed.
2. OnLine Training receives your completion request and will report your completion to the Florida Department of Financial Services, and will then issue to you a Certificate of Completion (via email). (If you registered through a Florida College, the college will be copied on your Certificate of completion so they know you completed the course).
3. Click here to begin the licensing process with the Florida Department of Financial Services (FLDFS).
4. Click here to schedule your State Licensing Exam with PearsonVue and pay exam fees.
5. Get fingerprinted with the State-approved vendor and pay fingerprinting fees.
6. Once all the steps required by the FLDFS have been satisfied, the department will send your approval by e-mail.
7. You may then go to your MyProfile account and print your license.
After beginning your application for a license with the State, you will have up to one year to complete your licensing application online (and become licensed) with the FLDFS at URL Address: https://dice.fldfs.com. You must be appointed to a position within 48 months (4 years) or your license will expire.
The latest information on getting your 2-20 license may be found at the Florida Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services website found here.
See the FAQ’s on the FLDFS website for more information: https://www.myfloridacfo.com/Division/Agents/Licensure/General/FAQ.htm
For any further questions about what happens AFTER you finish a pre-licensing course and have received your Certificate of Completion from OnLine Training, the best bet is to call the FLDFS at (850) 413-3137.
