Sentence Structure Exercise

Receive a grade

This exercise will test your ability to recognize run-on sentences and fragments. It will also test your ability to correct these types of problems within sentences. You will learn how to differentiate between the subject and predicate of a sentence. You will understand active and passive voices and how they relate to sentences. You will also recognize dependent and independent clauses.
